Our story
MCI Electrical is led by David McInnes. We run MCI Electrical from Eastleigh and we do the commercial electrical and data work ourselves, from the first look at the building to the last certificate. The work is fixed wire testing, emergency lighting, PAT testing, distribution boards, three phase supplies and structured cabling. We also fit workplace EV chargers, CCTV, shop fit-out electrics and Starlink. You deal with us on the quote, on site and at handover. MCI Electrical is NICEIC registered. We give a written price before we start. Booked jobs sit in our opening hours. We answer the phone any time, including nights when a fault cannot wait. We cover Eastleigh, Chandler's Ford, Hedge End and Botley, Whiteley and Segensworth, and Southampton and the docks. There is no maintenance plan. Each job is priced on the work in front of us.

What electrical work do you take on?+
Commercial electrical and data work: fixed wire testing, emergency lighting, PAT testing, distribution boards, three phase, machinery supplies, LED upgrades, EV charging, Cat6 cabling, CCTV, shop fit-outs and Starlink.
How much does commercial testing start at?+
Fixed wire testing starts at £195. Emergency lighting testing and a certificate start at £145. PAT testing starts at £95. Those are starting prices for the visit, not a fixed total for every building.
Do you hold NICEIC?+
Yes. MCI Electrical is NICEIC registered. We do not claim any other scheme.
Do you offer a maintenance plan?+
No. We quote each job as it comes. If you need a retest next year, book that visit when it is due.
When can I call?+
We answer the phone any time. Booked work is done in opening hours. Out of hours emergency callout starts at £105 per hour.
