Yes. Work is planned aisle by aisle or bay by bay. Isolating small sections at a time allows normal warehouse operations, picking, and packing to continue safely across the remainder of the building.
What information is needed to price a high bay lighting upgrade?
A site assessment checks ceiling heights, existing wiring, mounting methods, access machinery requirements, and the total number of light fittings. A detailed written quotation is then supplied itemising the installation.
Are emergency lighting high bays included in the upgrade?
Existing emergency high bay units can be replaced with dedicated emergency LED fittings containing integral battery backup packs, or separate emergency lighting units can be tested alongside the main high bay circuits.
What paperwork is provided after the lighting installation?
Following full inspection and testing of the modified circuits, an NICEIC electrical installation certificate is issued for your premises safety log and insurance records.
