- Office and corridor LED work, which is a separate office lighting upgrade from £480
- A full distribution board change, which starts from £950 if the lighting board itself is worn out
- Painting, ceiling repairs, or moving racking so we can reach the fittings
What happens on the day
We attend the warehouse ourselves. Work runs in opening hours unless you have booked out of hours cover.

Arrival and isolation
We meet you on site, walk the aisles, isolate the high bay circuits, and confirm which rows we are changing first so picking or loading can carry on in the rest of the building.

Swap the high bays
Old fittings come down, new LED high bays go up on the same mounts or new ones, and we check aiming over the floor, docks and any inspection pits.
- 03
Test and certificate
We energise the circuits, check each fitting, complete the certificate, and leave you with the old lamps removed from site.
How this is priced
From £680 the starting price buys a warehouse or high bay LED lighting upgrade: we count the existing fittings, give a written price, then fit the new LED high bays.
- The starting price is for a straightforward swap of existing high bays to LED. Extra height, extra rows, or a new layout is priced after we see the building.
- Out of hours work is charged as emergency callout from £105/hr if you need the warehouse lit the same night.
- MCI Electrical is NICEIC registered. You deal with us from quote to completion.
- Fixed wire testing is priced on the number of boards and circuits, not by the hour.
- Emergency lighting is priced per light, and the three hour test is priced separately.
- Repairs are priced item by item off the report, so you choose what to do and when.
- Work outside your trading hours costs a different rate, and I tell you what it is before I set off.
- Quotes are free, rescheduling is free, and there is no callout fee.
