What changes the price of fixed wire testing (commercial EICR)
Fixed wire testing, the commercial EICR, starts at £195. That starting price buys the inspection of the circuits on the booked visit and the certificate at the end.
- The starting price is for a small commercial premises. Extra boards, larger floor areas and three phase supplies take longer and cost more.
- Any repair found on the test is charged separately from £65 an hour.
- We give a written price before we start the inspection.

Will you turn the power off?
Yes, circuits come off while we test them. We work board by board so parts of the building can stay in use where that is possible.
Do you repair faults on the same visit?
Only if you book that work. Remedial work starts at £65 an hour and is quoted separately from the test.
