Who needs three phase power
- Kitchens, workshops, plant rooms and dockside units book this when single phase can no longer run ovens, compressors or motors without tripping.
- Lathes, compressors and welders draw more current than a domestic board can give. We bring a three phase feed to the machine location and fit isolation at the load.
- Ranges, dishwashers and extraction often need 400 volt supplies. We run the new circuits so each appliance has a dedicated way on the board.

What happens on the day
We arrive, isolate what we need, then install and test before we leave the keys and certificate with you.

Arrival and isolation
We meet you at the unit, confirm the loads, and isolate the board so the rest of the premises can keep running where it is safe to do so.

Cabling and board work
We pull the three phase cables, terminate at the board and at each isolator, and fit the new ways so each machine has a clear circuit.
- 03
Test and certificate
We test continuity, insulation and polarity, energise with you present, and leave the certificate for the new circuits.
How this is priced
A starting price of £1,400 covers a straightforward three phase install for a small workshop or kitchen, with cable, isolation and the ways marked on the board.
- Larger loads, long runs from the intake, or a new DNO connection sit above that starting figure and are priced after a site look.
- Hourly callout and fault work are separate if the existing supply is already failing.
- VAT and any network operator charges are shown on the written quote.
- Fixed wire testing is priced on the number of boards and circuits, not by the hour.
- Emergency lighting is priced per light, and the three hour test is priced separately.
- Repairs are priced item by item off the report, so you choose what to do and when.
- Work outside your trading hours costs a different rate, and I tell you what it is before I set off.
- Quotes are free, rescheduling is free, and there is no callout fee.
What you get after three phase work
You are left with a working 400 volt supply, a board with every way marked and the paperwork for the new circuits.

Can my building take three phase?+
Some Eastleigh and Hedge End units already have a three phase intake with spare ways. Others still have a single phase cut-out and need the network operator involved. We check that on the first visit.

Will the rest of the building lose power?+
We isolate only the board we are working on. Lighting and sockets on other boards stay on where the layout allows it.
Do I need to be on site?+
Someone who can give access and confirm which machines are going live should be there at the start and at energising. We do the rest.
